EcoNusa Foundation focuses on efforts to strengthen the initiatives from both local and international levels in creating sustainable management of natural resources in Eastern Indonesia, especially Maluku and Papua.

EcoDefender is one of EcoNusa's programs that aims to protect Indonesia's forests and seas which are endangered. EcoDefender is shaping an intelligent, vocal, and competent young generation of Indonesia through various programs such as Eco Diplomacy School, Young Papuan Researchers, and Sail to Campus.
